  • Peach Bottom Pottery is owned and operated by Holly Hood. She has worked in pottery for ten years. The journey began in Yellowstone National Park working for the resident potter. Holly is a native of Wythe County, Virginia, and has returned to the area, deciding to settle in Independence, in Grayson County. She has been fortunate over the past ten years to work alongside of the established potters of Grayson and Alleghany Counties. All of Holly’s work is wheel- thrown or hand-built, carved and decorated with hand mixed glazes. Holly’s pottery is displayed for sale in the Carroll County Tourism Office, 231 Farmers’ Market Drive, Hillsville, Virginia.
