Christine Wiggins is a native of Louisiana. She married A.T. and moved to Palma, Alaska where they lived for 21 years with 2 children being born in Anchorage. Christine was intrigued by the abundance of Native American bead work and decided to make jewelry for herself. She and her family moved to Dugspur, Virginia in 1994 and she continues making jewelry as a hobby. She is a retired elementary school teacher and has taught bead-crafts at Mountain View Bible Camp for the past two summers. Her work can be seen at Farmer’s Guild in Meadowview, Virginia, Pines & Needles in Fancy Gap, Virginia, Time Factory and Carroll County Tourism Office in Hillsville, Virginia.
