Carroll County has a UNIQUE place in the history of the United States being the only courthouse to experience such a tragedy the infamous Tragedy of 1912- a story of the human suffering and the ever present impact on our county’s history. Many exhibits are on display, bullet holes still present all help to tell a story of that tragic April day in 1912. The Allen Home Restoration Project, with visits scheduled to return in 2018.
