Donna Patricia Ellis – Laughing Horse Pottery, LLC

After spending 17 years working in the veterinary field as a regular vet tech, Donna decided to make a career change. She had always dabbled in art through painting, weaving and aboriginal skills. She apprenticed with Robin Mangum of Mangum Pottery in Turkey Knob from 2011 until 2014 and gained a vast experience in high-fire decorative and functional pottery; working on the potter’s wheel, hand-building and slab work. She assisted in the reduction as well as oxidation firings.
