WILLIS GAP COMMUNITY CENTER OPEN JAM: EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
Just minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway (Mabry’s Mill) Meadows of Dan (Primland) Andy Griffith’s hometown Mount Airy, NC (Mayberry).
Will Gap Community Center has been jamming successfully for over (20) twenty years. All skill levels are invited to attend. Acoustic instruments are playing Bluegrass, Country, Old-time, and Gospel. Founder, Mr. Ottto Hiatt is Director of the Jam. He plays the Large Base. Assistant Director Les Edgell.
Hotdogs, chips, snacks, and drinks available for purchase. All proceeds go to the Willis Gap Community Center,
The Willis Gap Community Center is available for rent to families, community, and church functions. Come out and visit the Willis Gap Community Open Jam; Family Friendly, bring your friends, and neighbors for good Music, food, 50/50 drawing, DANCING IS PERMITTED.
