Music Jam & Potluck – Galax

This is a new event at Matthews Living History Farm Museum that started in 2019 in hopes this becomes a great way to meet neighbors or maybe make a new friend. This year, (2022) our first Jam will be in May and our last one being in September, 2022. Unless our Musicians want to do more Tuesdays together, so watch our calendar to see. Due to the COVID Pandemic, we are asking everyone to practice social distancing, wear mask if you can and wash your hands! We have a sanitation station set up at the pavilion for your use.

We are inviting Musicians, people who love music, people who would love to learn how to play, people who dance and sing, to join us at the Museum at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This is a great way to learn about what makes this area so special, plus hear beautiful music. If you want bring a potluck snack or meal to share with everyone. We are providing disposable dishes, cups and silverware this year due to the Pandemic. We want to recreate the feeling of a community social. This is a free event and a fun way to get out and see the Museum. We do hope to see you soon!
