Jam – Pickin’ in the Patch, Galax

Briar Patch – music jams at 6:00 p.m. The Cafe will remain open all day until the end of the Jam. Music, Food, Ice Cream, and Rook will highlight these Tuesday night events that we are calling “Pickin’ In The Patch”. We invite those who have participated in the Galax Jam in the past and newcomers alike to join us at the Briar Patch Cafe on Tuesday nights in downtown Galax, Va for a great time!
What is a jam?
A music jam is where musicians simply get together informally and play. It is a very unique experience in that the musicians that play are sometimes total strangers to the other.
Every song is different, due to the fact that the musicians that play are usually different.
Bring your guitar, bass, fiddle, or banjo and join in for the fun. Some just like to listen, yet others can’t help but tap their toes or do a little flat-footing.
