Homestead Class: Foraged Face Care – Galax
August 19 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm$45
Matthews Living History Farm Museum is so excited to be offering these homestead classes to the public. This series of classes are designed to help you with skills needed on a farm or if you are wanting to be a self-sufficient homesteader. These classes will have fees attached to them, so please read the description to find out how much this month’s class is.
If you have come to some of our larger events, you would have met Tessa Benson in our Vendor lot. She handmakes soaps and face care. We are so happy to have Tessa here at the museum to teach about Foraged Face Care. In this class you will learn to use local plants that benefit your skin. Each person will make their own moisturizer, learn about different cleansing and toning methods. You will also take home a 3-step face care system (cleanser and toner will be premade due to time restraints, but you will learn to make these as well).
Cost of this class is $45.00, with some of the proceeds going to the museum.
Call (276)773-3080 or email, firstname.lastname@example.org, the museum, to reserve your spot.
