Guided Hike in Rock Castle Gorge

Mike Ryan, author of Life in Rock Castle, Virginia – In Their Own Words, will lead a 5-mile hike. The hike begins at 9:30 a.m. and lasts until 2:00 p.m. For details contact the Rocky Knob Visitor Center 540-745-9662.
Rocky Knob Visitor Center is located on Mile 169 on the Blue Ridge Parkway and is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through October 28. In addition to friendly helpful rangers, you will find hiking information, maps, snacks and gifts.
